Public Private Partnership Programme

Public Private Partnership Programme (PPP Programme) is a Danish International Development Assistance (Danida) programme promoting sustainable public private partnerships. The objective is to promote better working and living conditions in developing countries by advancing corporate social responsibility and increasing opportunities for investments and enhanced competitiveness.

The objectives are achieved by establishing public private partnerships within the framework of the United Nations' Global Compact. The Global Compact is the world's most comprehensive initiative in the field of corporate social responsibility (CSR).

The programme consists of two phases. One is Preparatory Phase which includes opportunities for support, partner identification, study. Another is Implementation Phase which includes opportunities for support, advisory services, financial support.

China is also the country which meets the requirement, but Danida only supports partnerships that contribute to development in western and northern China.
